Restaurante La Tresca sits right on Cambrils’ main promenade overlooking the harbour, making it a natural spot to settle in and watch the slow rhythm of seaside life. This full-service restaurant thrives on its straightforward, approachable seafood offerings with a clear local flavor. The menu leans heavily into classic Mediterranean and Catalan dishes, spotlighting items like Paella de Mariscos, Mejillones a la Marinera, and crispy Chipirones Fritos, ideal for anyone looking to enjoy freshly caught fish and shellfish prepared without unnecessary fuss.

Visitors will typically find La Tresca lively in the early evening, when the combination of ample portion sizes and reasonable set menus make it a go-to for families and groups after a day exploring the port and nearby shops. The ambiance is unpretentious with seating that invites diners to linger over a glass of Sangria or a local beer while taking in the harbour views. This makes it a solid option for those who want a relaxed meal with a local touch rather than a formal dining experience.

The friendly staff add to the welcoming vibe, often remembered for their attentiveness, especially towards families with children, which helps create a comfortable atmosphere for all ages. Given its location and menu variety, La Tresca suits visitors who appreciate casual seafood dining without the high prices typically found in more tourist-saturated spots.

Overall, La Tresca is best enjoyed during the evening hours, taking advantage of the cooler air near the water and the bustling yet unhurried promenade crowd. It’s a place where the food portions satisfy, the service feels familiar, and the setting connects you to Cambrils’ maritime character.

We ate here twice at night during our week's stay in picturesque Cambrils and both times chose the set menu at €19.50 each which included 3 courses and a drink so good value. Portion sizes were ample for the heartiest of appetites, food was delicious and the restaurant is in a great location on the main promenade opposite the harbour. Staff were friendly with good service too - I would highly recommend a visit to this lovely restaurant.

One of, if not thee best for seafood. The razor clams are amazing. One member of staff was brilliant with our son when he got a bit upset. Highly recommended

Oh did I mention large portions for good price. The location is in the middle of the shopping district. great location to sit and watch the world walk by. I was surprised by the range of food. Sat down for a little bowl of chips for the kids but ended up having our dinner there with good tapas; bravas potatoes, little fish and shell fish all tasted great. lovely little café.
